FAQ

What do I need to prepare for a delivery?

A little preparation makes your bulk delivery go smoothly. Because Avanni delivers loose material by dump truck, the main thing is making sure the truck can get in, dump safely, and get back out.

Site access

  • Clear the path. Move vehicles, trailers, trash cans, and anything else blocking the route to your drop spot.
  • Check overhead clearance. A dump truck raises its bed high, so watch for low branches, wires, and carport roofs.
  • Mind soft ground. Wet grass or sandy soil can be tricky for a loaded truck. A firm surface like a driveway is ideal.

Where the truck dumps

Decide ahead of time exactly where you want the pile. The material will land roughly where the truck is parked, so choose a flat spot as close as possible to where you'll be working. If you won't be home, mark the spot clearly and leave instructions.

After the drop

Loose material can shift in heavy Gulf Coast rain, so plan to spread or cover it within a reasonable time. Our full site preparation guide goes into more detail. Questions about your specific property? Call (985) 205-3396 before delivery day.
