Avanni Landscape Supply carries eight bulk materials, and choosing the right one comes down to your project. Here's a quick overview.
Sand
We carry river sand and mason sand. River sand is coarser and drains well, making it good for fill and drainage. Mason sand is finer and more uniform, often used for paver bases, mortar work, and play areas. See our river sand vs. mason sand guide for details.
Gravel
Our river gravel comes in 3/4 inch and 3/8 inch sizes. River gravel is smooth and rounded, popular for driveways, drainage beds, and decorative landscaping. The larger 3/4 inch works well for driveways; the smaller 3/8 inch suits walkways and finer ground cover.
Crushed limestone
We stock three grades of crushed limestone: #57, #89, and #610. Crushed stone has angular edges that lock together, which makes it ideal for compacted bases under driveways and slabs. Our limestone comparison explains which grade to use.
Topsoil
